The theme of the month is ‘Air’. Great evening at Trimpley! Nearly everyone had a go with the airbrush with some interesting results, but it will take practice to really get the hang of it! Loads of other creative stuff happening with straws and bubbles. I had a ball. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Great turnout at our meeting this evening! Everyone brought in paintings and drawings based on this month’s theme of Ice or the 2020 Vision prompts. Amazing variety and creativity.
9 January 2020 – Meeting
UPDATE – What a great evening! It was a full house with everyone having a go at our theme of the month ‘Ice’. Some members started working of the 2020 Vision Prompts with some great results. Karen brought in wax paper and showed members how to transfer the wax coating onto watercolour paper to create random effects which was then painted.
We kick off the year on 9th January 2020 at Trimpley Village Hall. The theme of the month is ICE. We will be using resists, such as masking fluid and wax to create pictures around our theme. Bring along your own reference photos and ideas to work from.

The 2020 Vision Project has now commenced. A series of weekly prompts is available to give you ideas for paintings or sketches throughout the year. They are all related to the ‘Theme of the Month’. The list can be found by following the link on the righthand panel.
party time 20019
Fabulous spread for our Christmas party. Special thanks to Jennie, ably assisted by Lesley, for the fabulous food. Thanks to Jim, Kevin, the other Kevin, Shelley, Ed, and everyone else who helped set-up the tables and put them away again at the end of the evening. I had great fun putting the quizzes together and I hope everyone enjoyed doing them. Normal services will be now be resumed in our household; much to Kevin’s delight! Thanks too to Jennie for sorting out prizes for the raffle and the quiz. I hope everyone enjoyed the evening! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. See you all in 2020.

A very special thank you to Clive Betts for his informative presentation on reflections, I think we all learnt something!
Hartlebury Castle exhibition
Our exhibition in the fabulous Bishops Palace at Hartlebury Castle during September was a great success. With over 1000 visitors during the Open Heritage Weekend, we had good exposure and we sold a couple of paintings as well! We hope to get asked back again next year.

25 July 2019 – Appraisal
Everyone has been really productive this month and there were lots of amazing paintings and sketches to share and enjoy. The theme of Urban Sketching proved a popular subject, especially when complimented with a trip out and a social get together afterwards. Thank you everyone who attended and helped out at the meeting last night.
