On Thursday 3rd April 2014 we look forward to welcoming Tony Chance who will talk about earning a living from his art as a story-board artist.
His talk will be accompanied by slides and story boards for films.
The meeting is at Trimpley Village Hall, DY12 1NZ, commencing at 7.15pm.

More beautiful and interesting paintings were brought to Trimpley Village Hall for the appraisal evening on Thursday 27th March .
Clare Spencer introduced Jim McIntyre our appraiser for the evening and provided us with a surprising synopsis of Jim’s life and work. He is no stranger to the society and as a ‘life 
member’ he has sat on the committee and provided great support for the society for many years. He provided a very thorough and insightful appraisal of each painting offering 
praise and constructive criticism to help the artist with their work.
The works of art submitted by members, as always, were of a high 
standard and a good range of subjects based on the theme for the month which was ‘Coast’ .
I have taken a few photos of some of the painting but would 
love to hear from other members with any contributions for this post or for other pages. We need more images of the

For the uninitiated; every month we invite a guest to critique any works that members have been doing during the month. The painting can be in any medium and each month there is a different theme. These evenings are generally very well attended and guests are welcome to come along.

If you are thinking about joining the Kidderminster Art Society, why not come along for a free ‘taster’ and meet some of the members. The Work Nights are very friendly and informal. Just bring some paper or sketchbook and something to draw or paint with.
The evening starts at around 7.15 p.m. until about 9.15
There was a good turnout tonight at the work night at Trimpley Village Hall. We are pleased to welcome another new member, Ruth, who joined us for the first time.
The theme for March is ‘Coastline’ and there were a number of items, such as rocks, shells and driftwood, brought in to draw or for inspiration. Shelley also brought a crate load of books on the ‘coastline theme’ from her extensive library – Thanks Shelley!
